It was a crazy summer for my wife and I, and we didn't get to take the summer vacation we had hoped. So to compensate, we spent last weekend in Branson, MO, and it was just what the doctor ordered.
I've been to Branson more than a dozen time. I went there every year between the ages of 4 and 14, and by the end of that run, I had grown pretty tired of it. Or maybe I just didn't enjoy vacationing with my parents anymore. It was probably a combination of both.
But after some time away, I've grown fond of Branson once again. Our little two-day trip wasn't anything fancy, but it was fun. For those interested, here are a few pictures from our trip with captions.

The last (and only other) time I went to the Dixie

Ke'o was very impressed by the size of the horses. |

We took several self-portraits on this trip. This was the best. |

This is a picture of Table Rock Lake we took while Riding the
Ducks. It was such a pretty day. |

Ke'o posing with her Wacky Quaker once we got on the water. |

October is such a great time to be in Branson. |

We went on a tour of Talking Rocks Cavern.
This was a picture I took while we were inside. |

We went to the top of Inspiration Tower at Shepherd of the
Hills. We were higher than the birds! |

This is a sight you couldn't find in Western Kansas. |
